The latest addition to Lu Yang's Material World Knight series, this work serves as a vehicle for exploring the creator's spiritual universe. Viewers are guided by the protagonist, the Material World Knight (an asexual figure), as they journey through various transformations of identity. Across eight episodes, they explore the universe, acquire power, are destroyed and reborn, experiencing internal battles with emotions and desires. Yang uses her art to explore the fluidity of gender representation through 3D animation inspired by Japanese manga and video game subcultures.
