Radio Piedras, compuesto de diecisiete episodios, explora un universo sonoro único. A través de estos episodios, el artista y dj nos introduce en un mundo de ficción sonora, donde la necesidad de descubrir espacios abiertos al diálogo es fundamental. Este archivo de radio es una experiencia auditiva única que nos sumerge en la mente creativa de Nicolás Jaar. Su combinación de sonidos y narrativas nos invitan a explorar nuevos horizontes en el mundo de la música y la ficción.

Nicolás Jaar
Chilean composer, producer, pedagogue and writer. He has released a dozen albums between his personal project, the alias AgainstAllLogic, and the band Darkside, among which stand out SpaceisOnlyNoise (2011), Sirens (2016) and Cenizas (2020). In recent years he has mainly dedicated himself to teaching, giving sound editing courses and listening workshops for emerging and beginner musicians in institutions and events such as the Museo de la Memoria (Santiago de Chile), WAV (Attapadi India), Festival 4x4 (Chiapas, Mexico) and Dar Jacir and Alrowwad (Bethlehem, Palestine). This year he published his first book of stories entitled Isole.

He began his international career in Basel in 1995, and since then has been music director of the Bern Opera (2007–2011), principal conductor of the Orchestra of the Palace of Fine Arts (2013–2019), conductor of the Strings of St. George chamber orchestra (2014–2019), and of the Braunschweig Opera and Orchestra in Germany (2017). He has collaborated with operatic luminaries such as Anna Netrebko, Diana Damrau, and Ramón Vargas. Marco Ugalde, director
Staccato, a chamber choir, appertain to the General Directorate of Music of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), performing both at the university and at cultural festivals in Mexico and abroad. It participated in the opera Don Giovanni at the Festival of the Historic Center of Mexico City (2019), and also in the Mexican premiere of György Ligeti's opera Le Grand Macabre at the Nezahualcóyotl Hall and the Palace of Fine Arts. Its founder and director, Marco Antonio Ugalde, studied at the National School of Music of UNAM. He is a member of the International Choral Council of Interkultur and has served on juries for international choral competitions. With the Staccato Choir, he has toured extensively and won several awards in international competitions.
Jaime Lobato
Artista transmedial, compositor, curador e investigador. Estudió composición en la Facultad de Música de la UNAM. Durante su trayectoria ha tenido cuatro muestras individuales. Como investigador trabajó en el Laboratorio de Visualización Científica y en el Observatorio de Realidad Virtual Ixtli, es fundador de SEMIMUTICAS Seminario de Investigación en Música Matemáticas y Computación, del espacio de biohacking Independencia Biolab, del Laboratorio de Visualización y Sonificación de Matemáticas y del Laboratorio de Experimentación Sensorial “Javier Covarrubias”; actualmente es investigador asociado del Centro de Ciencias de la Complejidad. Tiene varias publicaciones internacionales en editoriales como Cambridge Scholars, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Siglo XXI y la Sociedad Matemática Mexicana.

Roberto Morales
A distinguished composer, researcher, and educator in computational music and algorithmic composition, he holds a PhD in Composition from the University of California, Berkeley. His work focuses on real-time composition, mathematical models for music creation, and real-time audio and video processing. He has composed for theater, dance, film, television, and radio. He has participated in national and international festivals such as the Cervantino International Festival and the International Computer Music Conference (ICMC). He has received international awards, including first prize for his work Cenzontle at the 32nd International Competition for Electroacoustic Music and Sound Art in Bourges in 2005. He is a recipient of the National Acoustics Prize and is widely esteemed for his research, teaching, and outreach work at various universities abroad. He has been invited as a composer-in-residence at world-renowned institutions. He continues to contribute to the field of music and technology through concerts, courses, and seminars.
